Course Introduction:

The ITIL® Foundation course introduces concepts of IT Service Management (ITSM) based on the industry standard IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) and describes how this can be applied within an IT organization. This course prepares students to take on the ITIL® Foundation examination.

Course Description:

This course introduces the learners to ITIL®, ITSM and the key processes, which are part of the ITIL® Best Practices Framework. This course includes a comprehensive case study to enable the learners to "Learn by Doing". Introduced as a new approach to ITIL® training, ITAcademy employs a mixture of online and classroom course delivery methods that balance classroom group dynamics and knowledge sharing with a rich interactivity of multimedia session.

The ITIL® Version 3 best practice is composed of five core disciplines:

  • Continual Service Improvement

These disciplines represent a service life cycle framework that further enhances alignment to the business while demonstrating business value, ROI and enabling IT to solve specific operational needs.
